Microsoft Windows have launched the latest version of their operating system Windows 7. Microsoft has taken all possible steps to make the new Operating system flawless as Windows vista of Microsoft was not that successful as far as performance was concerned. Microsoft is planning to launch new Windows 7 in new machines as well as in standalone systems to enable the system to upgrade the operating system to Windows 7.

The sales strategies of Microsoft is not just limited to full-fledged version of operating system, but also it will come in a format suitable to be upgraded from an existing platform. Both Windows XP machines and Windows vista machines can be upgraded to Windows 7, but only Windows vista can be readily upgraded to Windows 7 without going through the entire burden of backing up all the system files and utilities and neither programs nor data need to be reinstalled in that case.
